Health cover - healthcare, maternity, disability and death benefits)
For seconded employees, health cover remains their country of origin’s. They still contribute to and benefit from their home country’s cover.
For other employees (with an expatriate or local status), the cover is the host country’s and is potentially complemented through complementary insurances.
- I- Health cover for seconded employees. Contributions are paid in the home country. Benefits are calculated based on the home country’s grids. Specific documents are to be sent in order to receive benefits.
- II –Health cover in other cases (expatriate and local status). The host country cover system applies. Additional cover can be obtained through complementary insurances contract specifically designed for international mobility.
